Gabriola Island hosts a great Studio tour  every October.  This year there were 62 artisans , too many to visit on one day. There are some very creative people living on Gabriola and it is well worth the visit.  The day was rainy but I managed to get this image to remember the day. Gabriola is a short ferry ride from Nanaimo.
