Spent an enjoyable few hours photographing sea turtles at Ho’okipa Beach. Many as you can see came up on the beach to rest.  Wildlife volunteers were on hand to make sure nobody came closer than 15 feet from the animals. The trick was to try to capture turtles in the waves. One only had a fraction of a second to get the light coming through the wave with the turtles silhouetted inside.  The turtles just seemed to be having fun but were probably eating seaweed and other green stuff on the rocks. Certainly fun to watch and try to photograph.
